The Sheridan Police Department is seeing increased abuse of vaping products by juveniles. Vaping is the action or practice of inhaling and exhaling the vapor produced by an electronic cigarette or similar device, according to one definition. Sheridan Police Lt. Travis Koltiska.
One of the complaints about vaping products has been the multitude of flavors that some believe appeal directly to children. Some examples include cotton candy and gummi bear.
According to www.truthinitiative.org, a study that included middle and high school students found that 43 percent of young people who ever used e-cigarettes, tried them because of appealing flavors.
